1991: Joins Fed Works of Nigerian first division
1992: Moves to hometown club Iwuanyanwu Owerri who 
      win Nigerian title in 1992-93 
1993: Makes his name as Nigeria win World Under-17 Cup in Japan
1993: Joins Ajax Amsterdam
1994: Ajax win Dutch League title, he scores twice in six matches
1995: Ajax win European Cup, comes on as a second half substitute.
1996: Member of Nigeria's Olympic gold-medal team in Atlanta: 
      scores golden goal in 4-3 semifinal win over Brazil and 
      captains Nigeria to victory in final over Argentina.
1996: Signs for Inter Milan, but within days of signing discovered 
      to be suffering from congenital heart defect
1997: Undergoes open-heart surgery in U.S. which saves his career
1998: Belatedly makes his Serie A debut for Inter on February 11, 
      1998 in 1-1 draw with Fiorentina. Plays in 11 league matches and 
      scores once in 1997-98 season
1998: Member of Nigerian World Cup squad in France'98
1999: January 15: Signs for English champions Arsenal
