In the second column, an S indicates player is also member of 1st team squad, a Y indicates eligibility for one of the youth teams, T indicates triallist or unknown status. Otherwise player is only a member of the reserve squad. There is a new reserve competition, the Premier Reserve League, is split into north and south divisions of 13 teams each, with the numbers made up from relegated teams from the previous two seasons.
