Highbury, Saturday 14th April 2001
FA Carling Premiership
Preview
- Arsenal team news
We don't expect Bergkamp to be fit, and there are
even suggestions in the
press that he might miss the rest of the season with the
achilles problem that's kept him out of the last 4 matches.
But Grimandi says on his website that he's fit to return.
update Friday
There's speculation today that Stepanovs will continue alongside
Keown, to give Adams more of a rest before Tuesday. Despite what
Grimandi says, reports are that Edu will continue in midfield.
Grimandi has resumed full training but has only just gotten over
the flu.
- Middlesbrough team news
Gianluca Festa could be out, for the rest of the season,
after suffering a suspected msucle tear in their 0-0 draw with
Sunderland on Monday. Full-back Curtis Fleming is also
a doubt after straining a hamstring in the match.
update Friday
Fleming and Festa are indeed out, along with Colin Cooper. But
Ince and Ehiougu return from suspensions.
