Highbury, Saturday 13th January 2001

FA Carling Premiership

Preview

  • Arsenal team news
Dave Seaman played in the reserves' 5-1 win over Wimbledon in midweek, and reckons he's ready to return. Whether Wenger will want to put him straight in so quickly we'll have to see.

  • Chelsea team news
Ogron keeper Ed de Goey has been dropped for the last 2 matches in favour of Carlo Cuducini. We're assuming that Dennis Wise will play, after officialdom intervened to keep him at Chelsea this week. Interesting times at Stamford Bridge. Who's in charge? Ranieri seems to be trying to ring some changes. Frank Le Boeuf is another no longer guaranteed a place.

Chelsea will definitely be missing Di Matteo, out with a long-term injury and aiming for the start of next season (he's just started walking unaided). See this page from the official Chelsea site, for more injury updates from the club physio (last updated 6th Jan).
