Preview
- Arsenal team news
Ljungberg and Edu are both still out.
Silvinho was thought possible for the last game, so there must
be a chance that he'll return for Cole.
- Coventry_City team news
Coventry are in the process of signing John Hartson from Wimbledon,
and it's expected to happen in time for him to play against his old club.
The official City website seems confident. They quote Hartson's Welsh friend
Craig Bellamy as saying "he does the ugly part of the game very well." Well,
better he hears it from a friend...
update Fridy afternoon: the Hartson move has fallen through. One
can only feel sorry for him. Rangers, Spurs, now Coventry. Who's
going to get his hopes up next?
Steve Froggatt has a long term injury which is threatening to end
his career. Carlton Palmer could be missing as there are reports of a bust-up between him and Gordon Strachan.
Marcus Hall, Barry Quinn, and Lee Carsley will all
have late tests to see if they're able to play. All 3 picked up knocks
against Leeds on Wednesday. Remembering one of his
overaggressive games at Highbury (when playing for Derby), I'm hoping
Carsley doesn't make it. He'd only spend all afternoon kicking Patrick Vieira.
Up front, City could recall Aloisi and Roussel.
Jay Bothroyd, who was chucked out of Arsenal for throwing a
strop (and a shirt, at Don Howe), could feature for Coventry.
